Hi! I’m Tina, the woman behind The Wandering Heart.
I’m a mom to an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, a wife, and, in this current season, a stay-at-home mom.
For most of my life, I tried to fit into a box. But when I became a mother, I realized none of those boxes were meant for me. Over the past eight years, I’ve spent a lot of time peeling back layers, healing, and rediscovering who I am beneath all the expectations.
One thing has remained true through it all: my heart always lights up when I allow it to wander.
Now, in midlife, I’m fully embracing the wander—exploring nature, small towns, hidden gems, and, of course, finding a really great sandwich along the way.
Most of my adventures take place throughout New England, though I’m always open to wherever curiosity leads next.
Here you’ll find stories of day trips and soulful detours, reflections from the road, and the things I’m learning as I follow my heart. I’m so glad you’re here.
